IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by Paragraph 5 (c) of the Fourth Schedule to the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, section 111 (1) (d) of the County Governments Act, 2012 and By-Law 16 of the Kakamega County Municipalities Traffic (Designated Parking Places) By-Laws, 2022, the Municipal Manager, Mumias Municipality gazettes the following parking places within the Municipality – 1. Mumias Central Business District (a) Frankmatt Supermarket parking lot; (b) Mama Watoto Supermarket parking lot; (c) Lulu Pub parking lot; (d) Aljazeera shop parking lot; (e) Family Bank parking lot; (f) Equity Bank parking lot; (g) KCB Bank parking lot; (h) Along Level 4 Hospitals; (i) Old Mumias Bus Park; (j) New Frankmatt Supermarket parking lot; and (k) Old parking bay. 2. Shibale parking lot 3. Ekero (a) Franco shop parking lot – Junction to Sabatia parking lot; (b) Black Big Nation parking lot along Kakamega–Bungoma Highway; and (c) Classic BBC parking lot opposite Mumias Inn along Ekero – Sabatia Road.
