IN PURSUANCE of section 112 and 162 (2) of the Land Act No. 6 of 2012, and further to Kenya Gazette No. 15674 of 17th November, 2023, the National Land Commission on behalf of County Government of Mandera, gives notice of hearing of claims to compensation for interested parties in the land required for part of Mandera Youth Polytechnic in Mandera County which shall be held on the date and place shown below: SCHEDULE Plot No. Registered owner Acquired Area (Ha.) Mandera Township Chief’s Camp at 10.00 a.m. on 7th February, 2024. L.R. No. 13139/660 Ali Haji Abass 0.0720 Every person interested in the affected land is required to deliver to the National Land Commission on or before the day of the inquiry a written claim to compensation, copy of identify card (ID), Personal Identification No. (PIN), land ownership documents and bank account details. The Commission offices are in Ardhi House, 3rd Floor, Room 305, 1st Ngong Avenue, Nairobi and at the Commission’s County Co- coordinator’s Office in Mandera County. Dated the 22nd January, 2024.
