THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kiketi Muasya alias Kiketi Muasia (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 2.023 hectares or thereabout, known as Athi River/Athi River Block 5/394, situate in the district of Machakos, and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrates Court in Succession Cause No. 101 of 2016, has issued grant of letters of administration to Stella Nduku Muasya (ID/1329073), and whereas the said Stella Nduku Muasya (ID/1329073) has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of L.R.A. 39 in respect to the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land has been missing or lost, and whereas all efforts made to recover the said land title deed for the said piece of land have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of L.R.A. 39 in the name of Stella Nduku Muasya (ID/1329073), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kiketi Muasya alias Kiketi Muasia (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
