THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Wilson Masyuko Mulandi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.0147 hectare or thereabouts, known as Mavoko Town Block 3/1999, situate in the district of Machakos, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Thika in Succession Cause No. 184 of 2016, has issued a grant of letters of administration to Ndukuthyo Mutie, and whereas the said Ndukuthyo Mutie has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of L.R.A. 39 in respect to the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land has been missing or lost, and whereas all efforts made to recover the said land title deed for the said piece of land have failed, 26th January, 2024 THE KENYA GAZETTE notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of L.R.A. 39 in the name of Ndukuthyo Mutie, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Wilson Masyuko Mulandi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
