THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Gachunga Kibuba (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Olare/Burnt Forest Block 5 (Ngarua)/261, situate in the district of Uasin Gishu, and whereas the Court has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Thomas Gakuru Gachunga and (2) Elizabeth Wairimu Muchoki, both of P.O. Box 5016, Eldoret in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed in the name of (1) Thomas Gakuru Gachunga and (2) Elizabeth Wairimu Muchoki, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Gachunga Kibuba (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
