(a) Academic Qualification Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any discipline or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) or its accepted equivalent from a recognized university (b) Professional Qualification Higher Diploma in HRM or its accepted equivalent from a recognized certification institution or Post Graduate Diploma in HRM or its accepted equivalent from a recognized certification institution (c) Working HR Experience At least five years of HR working experience or At least 10 years of HR working experience; Bachelors/Masters degree in any discipline and demonstrable core HR competencies; this criterion is applicable for those that do not have any HR professional qualification. Associate Membership Criteria A person shall be registered as an Associate Member of Institute of Human Resource Management if he/she meets the following academic, professional and working experience requirements. Bachelors/Masters degree in any discipline with a Certificate in HRM (or its accepted equivalent from a recognized certification institution) and at least one year of HR working experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (or its accepted equivalent from a recognized university) and at least one year of HR working experience; or Higher Diploma in HRM (or its accepted equivalent from a recognized certification institution) with at least one year of HR working experience; or Diploma in HRM (or its accepted equivalent from a recognized certification institution) with at least two years of HR working experience; or Diploma in any discipline and a Certificate in HRM (or its accepted equivalent from a recognized certification institution) with at least two years of HR working experience.
