GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 267

WHEREAS Grace Akinyi Okeyo, of P.O. Box 52, Suna Migori in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Suna East/Wasweta I/12658, and whereas the district officer, Suba East Division has issued letter of consent for sub-division, and whereas J. O. O. K’obado, licensed surveyor has subdivided the land into two portions known as parcel Nos. Suna East/Wasweta I/14392 and 14393, parcel No. Suna East/Wasweta I/14393 was to be transferred to Margaret A. Owiyo (deceased), and whereas the son Kevin Otieno Wanjare has brought the mutation instrument to be registered in his favour, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the title deed issued to Grace Akinyi Okeyo to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the instrument of mutation and issue to the said Kevin Otieno Wanjare, and upon such registration the title deed issued earlier to the said Grace Akinyi Okeyo, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
