IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 5 (4) of the Political Parties Act, the Registrar of Political Parties gives notice that the following parties have applied for full registration under section 7 of the Political Parties Act, 2011 with their symbols and colours as tabulated below: Party Symbols Colours Kenya African Democratic Union Asili (KADU Asili) Coconut tree Black ,White , Green ,and blue Safina–Party Safina Green, Red, Black and white Social Democratic Party(SDP) Face of the clock Red, Black and Gold Chama cha Mwananchi (CCM) Thumb up White, Blue, Red and Orange Kenya African National Union (KANU) Cockerel Black, Red, Green National Alliance Party of Kenya (NAP-K) Leopard Black, Forest Green and Dark Red Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Traditional Banjo Pale Orange, White and Black United Republican Party(URP) Pembe Yellow ,Red ,White and Black Mkenya Solidarity Movement Elephant Blue ,Red ,Green Any person or any other political party with objections to the registration of the names, symbols or colours of the above parties or any other issue relating to the registration of the political parties shall within 7 days make their written submissions to the Registrar of Political Parties.
