GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 5500

WHEREAS Michael Muthandi Kangethe, is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as Loc. 7/Gakogio/4076, situate in the district of Maurang’a, and whereas the principal magistrate’s court at Murang’a, in civil suit No. 471 of 2006, has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to Mweke Ngugi, and whereas the deputy registrar/executive officer executed a transfer of the said piece of land in favour of Mweke Ngugi, of P.O. Box 1, Karaba (ID/4952760), and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a title deed to the said Mweke Ngugi (ID/4952760), and from such registration the land certificate issued earlier to the said Michael Muthandi Kangethe, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
