GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 15596

WHEREAS Jacob Ombonya (deceased), of P.O. Box 68160, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as Nairobi/Block 82/2377, situate in the city of Nairobi, and whereas the chief magistrates’ court at Nairobi in succession cause No. 212 of 2004, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Public Trustee of the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the said Public Trustee of the Republic of Kenya has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the certificate of lease is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said certificate of lease and proceed with registration of the application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in favour of Public Trustee of the Republic of Kenya, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Jacob Ombonya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
