(No. 8 of 2002)
EXTENSION
PURSUANT to section 73 (5) of the Water Act 2002 the Water
Services Regulatory Board has approved the R.T.A for the area served by the Mombasa Water Supply and Sanitation Company
(MOWASSCO) more particularly the scheme areas of Mombasa
Island, West Mainland, North Mainland and Likoni

By extension therefore CWSB under powers granted to it in section 73 (1) and (4) gives a thirty (30) days month Notice to all consumers in the areas aforementioned, that after 30 days of the publication of this notice the water service tariff in the mentioned areas shall be as follows:

2.0 Sewerage Tariff
2.1 Sewerage is charged at 75% of the water billed for all customers
2.2 Disconnected water accounts shall be charged based on the average of the last three Months’ sewer charges before the disconnection.
2.3 Customers with no water connection:
(a) Domestic Customers: flat rate of KShs. 300 per month.
(b) Commercial customers: 75% of volume of water used as per the metered source of water
