DECLARATION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 25(1) (c) of the National Museums and Heritage Act, the Minister of State for National Heritage and Culture, in consultation with the National Museums, declares the area specified in the Schedule to be within the meaning of the Act. Any objection to the declaration of the area as a monument shall be lodged with the Minister within two (2) months from the date of publication of this Notice. SCHEDULE RUINS OF MTWAPA CREEK All that area of land, known as Mtwapa ruins, on the North of Mtwapa creek, measuring approximately 5.1518 Hectares within parcel Nos. NM/111/942, NM/111/943 and NM/111/944 in Mtwapa Location, Kilifi District of Kilifi County as shown on Plan FR. No. 187/67 deposited at Survey of Kenya office, Nairobi. Dated the 4th September, 2012.
