IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 49 (1) of the Labour Relations Act (No. 14 of 2007), the Minister for Labour makes the following Order: (a) That the company Kenfreight (E.A.) Limited and A to Z Transporters Limited, to deduct each employee who is not a member of the Kenya Long Distance Truck Drivers and Allied Workers Union herein referred to as the ―union‖ but is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement registered as RCA 72 of 2012 and RCA 74 of 2012 signed between the union and the company a sum equal to two (2%) from each employees basic monthly wage. (b) Deduction to commence within thirty (30) days of receiving the Order. (c) To remit within ten (10) days, the sums deducted under Item (a) by crossed cheque made payable to the union‘s account No. 003020018889 at K-Rep Bank, Kenyatta Avenue Branch, Nairobi.
