IN EXERCISE of powers conferred by section 2 (1) (a), 3 (2) of the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution of Kenya, section 41A of the former Constitution of Kenya, the National Assembly and Presidential Elections Act, Regulation 20 (4) of the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections Regulations, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission notifies the public that the persons named in the first column of the Schedule were and now stand validly nominated for the parliamentary by-elections to be held on 17th September, 2012 following the nomination of parliamentary and civic candidates held on 27th and 28th August, 2012, for Kangema, Kajiado North, Ndhiwa Constituencies and the sixteen (16) civic wards as indicated. The candidates represent the political parties named in the third column of the schedules whose symbols are named in the fourth column of the schedule and the party codes in the second column.
