NOTICE is given to the general public in the area of Tana Water Services Board (TWSB) which has a license to provide water services in the counties of Tharaka Nithi , Nyeri, Meru, Kirinyaga, Embu and Muranga that Tana Water Services Board (TWSB) has applied to the Water Services Regulatory Board for a Regular tariff review for her agent , Nithi Water and Sanitation company for the period 2012/2013 to 2014/2015.Nithi water and Sanitation Company serves the areas of Chuka Town, Chogoria town and their immediate environs. TWSB proposes a tariff review to enable Nithi Water and Sanitation Company to attain full cost recovery, undertake minor investments and meet conditions for improving service delivery. TWSB proposes to adopt rising block tariffs for all consumer categories except water kiosks. Details of the current tariff and the proposed tariff can be obtained from www@tanawsb.or.ke or at the Nithi water and sanitation company offices located next to the Meru South DCs Office. Written comments on improvements on service delivery and/or justified objections to the tariff review should be addressed to the General Manager, Nithi Water and Sanitation Company, P.O. A public consultation meeting shall be held on 5th July 2012 at Tharaka Nithi Teachers Sacco Hall, Chuka Town starting at 9.00am.
