THE VALUATION FOR RATING ACT

NOTICE is given that the Municipal Council of Bungoma at its full Council meeting held on 14th March, 2008, adopted Draft Valuation Roll, 2006, and is therefore deemed to be the Valuation Roll for the year 2007/2008 as stipulated in section 18 of the Valuation for Rating Act. And to levy flat rate of KSh. 1,000 on the land not incorporated in the Valuation Roll and falling within the extended areas (freehold) of the said Municipal Council of Bungoma as required by section 4 and 5 for the Rating Act which becomes into force, covering the following areas: Public land Bungoma Town plot Nos. (a) 165, 216, 217, 207, 206, 204, 209, 208, 170, 171, 172, 173, R. 29, R. 35, R. 23, R. 14, 174, 175, 176, R. 5, 177. (b) Kenya Railways land Bungoma Town plot Nos. (RR. 1, RR. 2).
