APPROVAL

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by sections 15 and 23 of the Rating Act, the County Council of Bomet has, with the approval of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Government approved the rates on the following gazetted forests with effect from 12th October,2011. Name of Forest Acreage Valuation (Ksh.) Chepalungu Forest 10,187 hectares or 25224.25 acres 550 per acre South West Mau Forest 17400 hectares or 43,082.40 acres 1125 per acre By Order of the County Council of Bomet Dated the 17th November, 2011.
