Pursuant to section 5 of the Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act (Cap. 38) of the laws of Kenya notice is given to Johnstone Chege Karanja, the owner of the 1500 crates of beer together with beer bottles therein currently lying at the Central Farmers Garage Limited, Nairobi, to take delivery thereof within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice and to pay all the outstanding storage, security and incidental costs incurred as at the date when the delivery is taken, failure to which the said (goods) shall be sold by public auction or private treaty, without further reference to the owners, the proceed of the sale to be used in defraying the said costs due and incurred and the balance if any shall remain at the owners credit but should there be a shortfall the owner shall be liable thereof.
