THE INDUSTRIAL TRAINING ACT

(Cap. 237)

PURSUANT to section 21 of the Industrial Training Act (Cap. 237) of the laws of Kenya, notice is given that the Director of Industrial Training intends to make a scheme for regulating the training of personnel engaged in hairdressing and beauty therapy industry. The draft scheme has been developed through collaboration between the industry and the National Industrial Training Council. Copies of the draft scheme are available for inspection in the office of the Director of Industrial Training, Commercial street, Industrial area, Nairobi during normal working hours for the next thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice. Any objection shall be in writing and shall state- (a) the specific grounds of objection, and (b) the deletions from, or additions or modifications to, the sheme requested by the objector; and the director shall consider the objectionmade by or on behalf of aperson appearing to be affected, if the objection has been sent within the time specified, the Director may, but shall not be bound to, consider any other objection.
