GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 13865

WHEREAS Susan Jeruto Magut, of P.O. Box 278, Nanyuki in the Republic of Kenya, is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as Laikipia/Kalalu/365, situate in the district of Laikipia, and whereas in civil suit No. 3 of 2007, has ordered that the said piece of land be subdivided and a portion be transferred to Jane Chepterere Matieney, of P.O. Box 205, Nanyuki, and whereas the deputy registrar/executive officer of the said court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed a transfer of the said piece of land in favour of Jane Cheptere Matieney, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land title deed to the said Jane Chepterere Matieney, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Susan Jeruto Magut, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
