THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT

(Cap. 490)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ofafa Maringo Housing Co-operative Society Limited CS/9590 has failed to submit returns for the last three years. And pursuant to section 62 (1) (b), I am of the opinion that the said society should be dissolved. Now therefore, I cancel the registration of the society and order it be liquidated. Any person(s) wishing to contest this order can do so to the Minister within thirty (30) days from the date of this order. And further, pursuant to section 65 of the said Act, I appoint Justus Kiago Solomon, Assistant Commissioner for Co -operative Development, Nairobi, to be liquidator for a period not exceeding one (1) year and authorize him to take into his custody all the properties of the said society including such books and documents as are deemed necessary for completion of the liquidation.
