NOTICE is given under the Transfer of Businesses Act, that the business of operating a factory which includes the sourcing and processing of materials and the manufacturing of breakfast cereal and cereal bars under the Weetabix and Alpen trademarks carried on by THE KENYA GAZETTE 21st January, 2011 Breakfast Cereal Company (Kenya) Limited at plot L.R. No. 209/8642, Lusingethi Road, off Likoni Road, Industrial Area, Nairobi, Kenya, will be transferred on or about 31st January, 2011 (subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions precedent) to Weetabix East Africa Limited which will carry on the business under the name Weetabix East Africa Limited at the same premises. The address of the transferor is P.O. Box 78633–00507, Industrial Area, Nairobi. The address of the transferee is P.O. Box 78633–00507, Industrial Area, Nairobi. All debts or liabilities due and owing by the transferor in respect of the business up to the date of transfer as set out above shall be received and paid by the transferor. The transferee is not assuming nor is it intended to assume any liabilities whatsoever incurred by the transferor in the business up to the date of transfer. Dated the 11th January, 2011.
