THE MINING ACT

APPROVAL

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 92 (1) (ii) of the Mining Act, the Minister for Environment and Mineral Resources directs that all mining rights issued either in the form of mining locations in the case of small-scale operations, or mining lease for larger operations, shall be preceded by a project feasibility study report that is approved by the Minister for Environment and Mineral Resources.
