GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 12352

WHEREAS Begum Butt c/o Mellanchthon Strab 4D, of P.O. Box 8530, West Germany, is the registered proprietor of those pieces of land known as (1) Mombasa Block XXI/367 and (2) Mombasa Block XXI/368 situate in the district of Mombasa and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Mombasa, in civil suit No. 3555 of 2006 has ordered that the entries in the lands office transferring the reversionary interest of the plaintiffs (1) Mohamedali Ebrahim Hassanali and (2) Kalimuddin Ebrahim Hassanali to the said Begum Butt on 5th June 1978 be expunged and that all title deeds issued thereon be withdrawn and cancelled and the title deed be issued to the said (1) Mohamedali Ebrahim Hassanali and (2) Kalimuddin Ebrahim Hassanali and whereas efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land title deed to the said (1) Mohamedali Ebrahim Hassanali and (2) Kalimuddin Ebrahim Hassanali, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Begum Butt, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
