UNDER the powers granted to the Water Services Regulatory Board by section 57 of the Water Act, 2002, it is notified that the Water Services Regulatory Board issued a ten year licence to Tanathi Water Service Board. Accordingly, the Tanathi Water Service Board has the power under the Water Act, 2002, to provide water and sewerage services in the following districts: Kangundo, Kibwezi, Kitui, Kyuso, Machakos, Makueni, Mbooni East and West, Mutomo, Mwala, Mwingi, Nzaui, Yatta, Kajiado North, Kajiado Central and Loitokitok. The implementation of the licence conditions shall address the concerns raised by the public in the public consultation process. The licence shall expire on 1st February, 2021.
