REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Jacob Otieno Awiti (deceased), is the registered proprietor of that piece of land known as Thika/Municipality Block 14/242, containing 0.03 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kiambu, and whereas the chief magistrate’s court at Thika, in succession cause No. 348 of 2001, has issued grant of letters of administration to Jacinta Ngendo Otieno, and whereas the certificate of lease issued earlier to the said Jacob Otieno Awiti (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said certificate of lease and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of R.L. 19 and R.L. 7, and issue a certificate of lease to the said Jacinta Ngendo Otieno, and upon such registration, the certificate of lease issued earlier to the said Jacob Otieno Awiti (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
