GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 10618

WHEREAS Hannington Mobutu Akala, is the registered proprietor of that piece of land known as Kakamega/Shivakala/1252, situate in the district of Kakamega, and whereas the district land registrar in cause No. 307 of 1990 in the High Court of Kakamega, has issued summons under section 8 (b) of Cap. 300 Laws of Kenya to the said Hannington Mobutu Akala to appear before him and produce the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land issued to him, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed to cancel the registration in favour of Rose Shiabuya Amugune and reinstate the name of Rose Shiabuya Amugune, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Hannington Mobutu Akala, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
