WHEREAS by an extension order dated 10th November, 2009, I appointed Boniface M. Karanja, to be liquidator of Tigania Farmers Co-operative Society Limited (in liquidation) (CS/1046), for a period not exceeding one year and whereas the said officer has not been able to complete the liquidation. Now therefore, I further extend the period of the liquidation with effect from 1st April, 2011, for a period not exceeding six months for Boniface M. NO. 10533 THE WATER ACT (No. 8 of 2002) APPROVED CLUSTERED COMPANY OF KIBWEZI–MAKINDU WATER AND SANITATION COMPANY AS PER the license issued by the Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) to Tanathi Water Services Board (TAWSB), WASREB has approved the creation of the cluster of Kibwezi- Makindu Water and Sanitation Company (KIMAWASCO) in line with sections 55, 57, 59 and 73(5) of the Water Act 2002. By this Gazette notice, Tanathi Water Services Board (TAWSB) notifies all existing and potential Water and Sewerage customers of Kibwezi Water and Sewerage Company and Makindu Water and Sewerage Company and its environs that their services shall be offered by the viable Kibwezi-Makindu Waterand Sanitation Company (KIMAWASCO). TAWSB shall supervise KIMAWASCO under section 55 of the Water Act 2002 for the service areas of Kikumbulyu, Masongaleni, Machinery, Ngwata, Nzambani, Nthongoni, Kathekani, Mtito Andei, Kambu, Uthini, Kiboko, Twaandu, Makindu, Nguumo and the environs and any other beneficiaries of the Water Supply and Sewerage Servicesnot mentioned above shall be under the viable KIMAWASCO from the date of this notice. By this Gazette notice, TAWSB notifies all existing and potential Water and Sewerage customers of Nol-turesh Pipeline Bulk Water Supply Company Ltd & Oloitokitok Water and Sanitation Company and its environs that their services shall be offered by the viable Nolturesh–Loitoktok Water and Sanitation Company. TAWSB shall supervise Nolturesh-Loitoktok Water and Sanitation Company under section 55 of the Water Act 2002 for the service areas of of Kimana, Imbirikani, Entarara, Kuku, Loolopon, Mashuru, Imaroro, Algaka Kenya, Merrueshi, Imbuko, Nkama, Poka, Kitaingo, Mukaa, Kwale, Muani, Kima kiu, Malili, Ngaamba, Kavuthu, Mulala, Emali and the environs, Machakos, Mavoko , Olkejuado WSPs and any other beneficiaries of the Water Supply and Sewerage Services not mentioned above shall be under Nolturesh-Loitokitok Water and Sanitation Company from the date of this notice.
