APPOINTMENT
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by paragraph 1 of the First
Schedule to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission
Act, 2011, I, Mwai Kibaki, President and Commander-in-Chief of the
Kenya Defence Forces, in consultation with the Prime Minister and with the approval of the National Assembly, appoint a Selection Panel comprising—
Marion Wanjiku Mutugi (Prof.), Mwanyengela Ngali (Amb.), Ekuru Aukot (Dr.), Rozaah Akinyi Buyu, Justice Isaac Lenaola, Irene Cheptoo Keino, Sophie Njeri Moturi, for the purpose of selecting nominees for appointment as the chairperson and members of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries
Commission under section 5 of the Act.
