THE MICROFINANCE ACT

REGULATION

PURSUANT to regulation 8 (1) of the Microfinance (Deposit- Taking Microfinance Institutions) Regulations, 2008, it is notified for the information of the general public that the Central Bank of Kenya licensed Rafiki Deposit-Taking Microfinance (K) Limited as a nationwide microfinance institution to carry out deposit taking business throughout Kenya, with effect from 13th June, 2011. Dated the 23rd June, 2011. NJUGUNA NDUNG‘U, Governor, Central Bank of Kenya.
