GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 7302

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 9 (3) (a) of the Alcoholic Dinks Control Act (No. 4 of 2010), the District Commissioner, Nzaui District notifies the general public that a meeting for hearing of applications for persons/business premises for new/renewal of licences as stipulated under the Act shall be held at the District Commissioner’s office, Matiliku, on Thursday, 14th July, 2011, at 10.00 a.m. Any person may lodge objections to any application(s) in writing to the Secretary of the District Committee, and the objector shall serve notice of the grounds of the objections on the applicant, personally or by post, at least seven days before the hearing of the application and the onus of proof of such service shall be on the objector.
