IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 9 (3) (a) of the Alcoholic Dinks Control Act (No. 4 of 2010), the District THE KENYA GAZETTE 24th June, 2011 Commissioner, Mbeere North District notifies the general public that a meeting for hearing of applications for persons/business premises for new/renewal of licences as stipulated under the Act shall be held at the District Commissioner’s office, Siakago. Any person who may lodge objections to any application(s) in writing to the Secretary of the District Committee, and the objector shall serve notice of the grounds of the objections on the applicant, personally or by post, at least seven days before the hearing of the application and the onus of proof of such service shall be on the objector.
