GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 4975

WHEREAS Mary Wamaitha Maina (ID/199693), is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as Nthawa/Gitibure/303, situate in the Mbeere District, and whereas the chief magistrate‘s court at Siakago in civil suit No. 11 of 2008 has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to Peter Njuguna Maina, and whereas the the executive officer of the said court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed a transfer of the said piece of land in favour of Peter Njuguna Maina, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land title deed to the said Peter Njuguna Maina, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mary Wamaitha Maina, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
