GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 1141

WHEREAS Katton Chemusany Kerker, of Kapenguria in the Republic of Kenya, is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as West Pokot/Keringet ―A‖/401, situate in the district of West Pokot, and whereas chief magistrate‘s court at Kitale, in civil case No. 100 of 2007, has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to Chepleke Chemussa, of P.O. Box 333, Kapenguria, and whereas the executive officer of the said court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed transfer of the said piece of land in favour of Chepleke Chemussa, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land title deed to the said Chepleke Chemussa, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to Katton Chemusany Kerker, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
