GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 1138

WHEREAS Jonathan Otuma Odula, is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as N/Wanga/Khalaba/1598, situate in the district of Kakamega, and whereas the District Land Registrar in this letter Ref. Award No. 149/2002, CMC at Kakamega, has issued summons under section 8(b) of Cap. 300 laws of Kenya to the said Jonathan Otuma Odula, to appear before him and produce the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land issued to him, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed to cancel the registration in favour of Thomas Makoye Songoro, and reinstate the name of Thomas Makoye Songoro and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Jonathan Otuma Odula, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
