IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Mining Act, the Minister for Environment and Mineral Resources re- instates the B & M Mining Company Limited Special Licence No. 214 covering an area of 15 square kilometres, which was irregularly terminated by the Commissioner of Mines and Geology on grounds of expiry while a matter concerning the company was pending in court, and yet the Commissioner‘s office prevented renewal of the same licence citing the court case as the reason for such action.
