GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 6332

WHEREAS the parcels of land whose details are described under the Schedule herein below were allocated and titles issued to private developers, it has come to the notice of the Government that the said parcels of land were reserved for public purpose under the relevant provisions of the Constitution, the Government Lands Act (Cap. 280) and the Trust Land Act (Cap. 288). The allocations were therefore illegal and unconstitutional. Under the circumstances and in view of the public need and interest, the Government revokes the said titles. SCHEDULE Mombasa Municipality Mainland North/I/9593, Mainland North/I/9594 and Mainland North/I/6230 All the above land was reserved for Kenya Revenue Authority. Mainland North/III/3650, Mainland North/III/3651, Mainland North/III/3652, Mainland North/III/3653, Mainland North/III/3654, Mainland North/III/3655, Mainland North/III/3656, Mainland North/III/3657, Mainland North/III/3658 and Mainland North/III/3659. All the above land was reserved for Customs and Excise Department. Mainland North/I/9784, Mainland North/I/9786, Mainland North/I/9787, Mainland North/I/9788, Mainland North/I/9789, Mainland North/I/9790, Mainland North/I/9791, Mainland North/I/9792, Mainland North/I/9793, Mainland North/I/9794 and Mainland North/I/9795. Mainland North/I/3090, Mainland North/I/3091, Mainland North/I/3092, Mainland North/I/3093, Mainland North/I/3094 and Mainland North/I/2415.
