Nailobi had solicited for a benefit of KSh. 20,000 as an inducement so as to forbear charging the .complainant and his employee; for working in a food manufacturing plant without medical certificates and white aprons. Investigations established the solicitation and receipt of KSh.
11,000 by the suspects. In the course of the arrest, the KACC investigators were assaulted by the suspects with the help of other employees of the City Council of Nairobi. The suspects were later arrested and charged with various offences including causing grievous harm, soliciting and receiving of a benefit.
