IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by regulation 6 of the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections Regulations and rule 10 of the Local Government Elections Rules, the Electoral Commission gives notice for the purpose of polling during the forthcoming by-elections to be held on 25th September, 2008, that: (a)The constituencies appearing in the capital letters and the local authorities below in therst column of the schedule are respectively divided into the polling areas (civic wards) specified in the second column. (b)The polling areas (civic wards) in the second column of the schedule are each assigned tentres with distinguishing numbers specified in the third column of the schedule. (c)Each assigned centre distinguishing numbers has the number of polling stations (formerly known as streams) specified in the fourth column of the schedule; and (d)Each polling area teivic ward) has the place or places specified in the fifth column of the schedule as place or places at which the polling stations for sucliyelling shall be established.
