IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 148 of the
Local Government Act, the Town Council of Taveta has with the approval pf the Minister for Lethal Government imposed fees and charges payable to this Council for each of the trade; professions and occupations and other user charges specified in the schedule hereunder and the premises used in connection herewith with effect from 1st
April, 2008.

DISPOSAL OF UNCOLLECTED GOODS
NOTICE is issued pursuant to the provisions of the Disposal of
Uncollected Goods Act (Cap. 38) of the laws of Kenya, that all customers who brought the following goods: Fridges, freezers, televisions, CD players, VCRs, VCP's, HI-Fis, DVDs, radios, vacuum cleaners, fan heaters, kettles, irons, etc. for repair before or on 31st
March, 2008, and are with Hotpoint Service Centre, to collect them upon payment of repair or service charges within twenty-one (21) days from the date of publication of this notice, failure to collect the said goods within the given notice shall lead to the said goods being disposed or sold to recover repair and storage costs. This is a final remainder and no further claims shall be entertained for recovery of goods.

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Disposal of Uncollected Goods

UAF 838B bus motor vehicle, which is lying at the premises of
Messrs. Box 250-00300, Nairobi, within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice upon payment of all outstanding debts plus storage charges and other incidental costs including that of publishing of this notice, failing to which the said motor vehicle shall be disposed of by way of public auction without further reference and the proceeds of the sale shall be defrayed against all the outstanding debts storage charges accrued thereon and other incidentals and the balance, if any, shall, remain credit of the owner, but should there be any shortfall, the owner shall liable therefore.
