THE REGISTERED LAND ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Salome Obiero Ooro (deceased), of P.O. Box 447, Suna in the Republic of Kenya, is registered proprietor of that piece of land known as No. Suna East/Wasweta 1/1441, situate in the district of Migori, and whereas the chairman of suba east land control board gave a letter of consent for transfer to Mr. Joseph Agunga Okuthe, of P.O. Box 51335, Nairobi, before Salome Obiero Ooro died, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer, and issue land title deed to the said Joseph Agunga Okuthe, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Salome Obiero Ooro, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
