PURSUANT to regulation 21 of the Environmental (Impact Assessment and Audit) Regulations, the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) ha's received an environmental impact assessment study report for the implementation of proposed up- grading of Outer Ring Road (C59). The project is located on Outer Ring Road (C59). The project anticipates the following Impacts and mitigation measures. Possible impacts Mitigation measures 1. Scraps and other debris • Water management as a result of and spoil on site facility decommissioning. •Demobilization. •All buildings, machinery, equipment, structures and partitions that will not be used for other purposes must be removed and recycled or used say in other projects. •Where recycling, reuse of the machinery, equipment, implements, structures, partitions and other demolition waste is not possible, the materials should be taken disposed in approved dumpsites.
