GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 2038

WHEREAS Haron Kipchirchir Koech, of P.O. Box 1404, Kitale in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Kaplainai/Sirende Block 2/Ngonyek/8, situate in the district of Trans Nzoia, and whereas the chief magistrate's court at Kitale, land case No. 141 of 2006, has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to Samuel Kariuki Kuria, of P.O. Box 1990, Kitale, and whereas the deputy registrar of the said court has in pursuance to an order of the said court executed an instrument of transfer in favour of Samuel Kariuki Kuria, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title -deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue a land title deed to the said Samuel Kariuki Kuria, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Haron Kipchitchir Koech, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
