THE REGISTRATION OF TITLES ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Tawai Limited, a limited liability company incorporated in Kenya, having its registered office at Nairobi, P.O. Box 14194, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered proprietor lessee of that piece of land containing 764 hectares/acres or thereabout, known as L.R. No. 5707, situate in the south-west of Kitale Municipality, Trans Nzoia District, held under grant registered as I.R. 18551/1, and whereas Unilever Tea Kenya Limited alias Brooke Bond Kenya Limited, has executed an instrument of discharge of charge in favour of Tawai Limited, of P.O. Box 14194, Nairobi, and whereas affidavits have been filled in terms of section 65 (1) (h) of the said Act declaring that the said grant registered as I.R. 18551/1, is not available for registration, notice is given that after the expiration of fourteen (14) days from the date hereof provided that no valid objection. has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said grant and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of discharge of charge.
