Under section 13 (2) of the Teachers Service Commission Act, the Minister for Education appoints— Under paragraph (a) Mr. Michael Gachingi Kamore—Chairman Under paragraph (b) Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education Permatient Secretary, Ministry of Finance Permanent Secretary, Ministry of State for Public Service Chairman, Teachers Service Commission Under paragraph (c) National Chairman, Kenya National Union of Teachers Secretary-General, Kenya National Union of Teachers National Treasurer, Kenya National Union of Teachers Deputy Secretary-General, Kenya National Union of Teachers Vice-National Treasurer, Kenya National Union of Teachers to be members of the Teachers Service Remuneration Committee with effect from 1st January, 2008.
