THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Arafa Bakari Omar (deceased), is registered as proprietor in absolute ownership of all that piece of land containing 0.02 acre or thereabouts, situate in Lamu County, registered under title No. Lamu/Block 1/ 398, and whereas in the Kadhi Court at Lamu in Succession Cause No. E31 of 2025, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Ismael Said Ali (ID/25048077), and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Arafa Bakari Omar (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 to Ismael Said Ali (ID/25048077),, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Arafa Bakari Omar (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
