THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Jane Muthoni Thuo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.67 hectare or thereabouts, known as Muhito/Thiha/433, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nyeri in Succession Cause No. 267 of 2005, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Perpetual Wambui Thuo, as the administrator and beneficiary, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of transfer by transmission documents of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 in favour of the said Perpetual Wambui Thuo, as the administrator and beneficiary, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Jane Muthoni Thuo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
