THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Githinji Kiguta Mbuthia (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.42 hectares or thereabout, known as Gatarakwa/Gatarakwa Block 3/719, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nyeri in Succession Cause No. E11 of 2008, has issued letters of administration to (1) Rose Gathoni Githinji, (2) Lucy Wandia Nderitu and (3) John Wachira Githinji, as the administrators and beneficiaries, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of transfer by transmission documents of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 in favour of the said (1) Rose Gathoni Githinji, (2) Lucy Wandia Nderitu and (3) John Wachira Githinji, as the administrators and beneficiaries, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Githinji Kiguta Mbuthia (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
