IN EXERCISE of powers conferred by provisions of section 30 of the National Rating Act, 2024, of the laws of Kenya, and the approval by the County Executive Committee, the County Government of Marsabit gives notice that the preparation of Marsabit County Valuation Roll is underway. APPOINTMENT OF VALUERS IN EXERCISE of powers conferred by provisions of section 22 of the National Rating Act, 2024 of the laws of Kenya, the County Government of Marsabit appoints valuers listed herebelow as the valuers to prepare the Marsabit County Valuation Roll, 2026- (a) Arikanjeru Kinyua Njiru, B.A (Land Economics) Hons, M.I.S.K (VS), and registered valuer. (b) Shukri Osman, B.A (Land Economics) Hons, M.I.S.K (VS) and registered valuer. DECLARATION IN EXERCISE of powers conferred by provisions of section 27 of the National Rating Act, 2024 of the laws of Kenya, the County Government of Marsabit declares that the valuers in preparing the Marsabit County Draft Valuation Roll, 2026 or any Supplementary Valuation Roll will include only the unimproved site value of every ratable property. TIME OF VALUATION IN EXERCISE of powers conferred by provisions of section 27 of the National Rating Act, 2024 of the laws of Kenya, and approval by the County Executive Committee Resolution, the County Government of Marsabit adopts the Time of Valuation for the purposes of preparing the Draft Valuation Roll 2026 as the 4th May, 2026.
