THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Richard Kinyua (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as Marmanet/North/Rumuruti Block 2/1856 (Ndurumo), situate in the district of Laikipia, and whereas in High Court of Kenya at Nakuru in Succession Cause No. 168 of 2006, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Florence Jelagat Kangeton and (2) Lucy Wangui Kinyua, and whereas the said (1) Florence Jelagat Kangeton and (2) Lucy Wangui Kinyua, has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 19, and whereas the land title deed of the said piece of land are lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instrument of transmission of L.R.A. 19 in the name of (1) Florence Jelagat Kangeton and (2) Lucy Wangui Kinyua, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Richard Kinyua (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
